Singer-Songwriter Challenge Begins The 2010 Singer-Songwriter Challenge organized by community radio BLU FM 89.1 started on Thursday 26 August at the Hotel Gearin in Katoomba. "Last year's Challenge created unprecedented interest in the community and this year's promises to be even more exciting,” says organizer Ken Quinnell. "A number of our past contestants have gone on to establish themselves as serious musicians." The Singer-Songwriter Challenge is open to solo performers and duos in all styles of music.
