The Dead Sea – Nulla Desiderata

This band generate some of the most sophisticated post-rocky/ambient/instrumental/whatever stuff in the country (at least that I’m aware of). Not only do these dudes hail from Sydney, but from what I can ascertain they at some point resided in The Blue Mountains, which in a sparse roundabout kinda way, brings a degree of credibility to this place that is, at times, sorely lacking.

The Last Poets – White Man’s Got a God Complex

Yet another example of a group who were sorely under appreciated during their time. Laying the foundations for what would become one of largest movements in popular music today.

A Winged Victory For The Sullen – Steep Hills of Vicodin Tears

More beautiful music from Adam Wiltzie, this time under his A Winged Victory For The Sullen moniker, carrying on with the stratospherical legacy established through his work with Stars Of The Lid.
